Investing in the Future

By including the Tri Sigma Foundation in your estate plans, you can create a legacy that will impact generations of Tri Sigma women.

No matter your stage of life or financial situation, there are many meaningful ways to include the Tri Sigma Foundation in your plans. From naming the Foundation as a beneficiary to your estate to donating appreciated assets, you can choose an approach that reflects your goals and provides lasting support for future generations of sisters.

Make an Impact with a Future Gift

Planned gifts can take many forms, including bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance policies, and retirement plan assets. You can direct your planned gifts to support the Tri Sigma causes that mean the most to you—like leadership programs, scholarships, and Sigma Serves Children initiatives. Make a difference with the legacy you leave.

Choose a Strategy that Works
for You & Your Family

Estate planning can create a foundation of security for your family and benefit a charity you care about, like the Tri Sigma Foundation. Talk with your financial advisor to start planning your legacy. Consider which options work for you:

  • You can designate a percentage of your estate or a fixed dollar amount to the Tri Sigma Foundation through a will or trust, ensuring your values live on for future generations.

  • By naming the Tri Sigma Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, you can make a meaningful gift without affecting your current finances.

  • Consider naming the Tri Sigma Foundation as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, which may also provide tax benefits for your estate.

  • Contribute stocks, bonds, or real estate to the Tri Sigma Foundation, allowing you to make a high-impact gift while potentially reducing capital gains taxes.

Join the Heritage Society

Tell us about your estate plans so we can celebrate your membership in the Heritage Society, recognizing members who make planned gifts to support the Foundation. Members receive a commemorative pin, annual recognition in publications, and special recognition at Tri Sigma's triennial Convention.

Contact Advancement Officer Summer Sage at ssage@trisigma.org or (434) 960-9816 to get started or to learn more about the ways your planned gift can make an impact.
