Annual Report

Empowered by Your Generosity
JeanMarie Mattingly, Foundation Board Chair
What a year it has been! The Tri Sigma Foundation embraced the vision of our Founders and the generosity of our donors to lean into our mission to secure and provide enduring resources to support the leadership development, scholarship, and philanthropic initiatives of Sigma Sigma Sigma. We moved boldly to address the needs of our members while staying ever true to the intentions and desires of our donors.

The Tri Sigma Foundation's $10 million comprehensive campaign for Tri Sigma's future

At Tri Sigma’s 47th National Convention last June, the Tri Sigma Foundation joyously launched a transformative $10 million comprehensive campaign for Tri Sigma’s future. This historic initiative—the first in the Foundation’s history—will enhance the Tri Sigma member experience for generations to come.
Fundraising efforts began July 1, 2023, and will run through June 30, 2028. Your support is already bringing this vision to life through new initiatives.

Meet Kimberly Gatzemeyer, Chi
Margaret Parker Munger Graduate Scholarship
"Receiving the Margaret Parker Munger Scholarship is incredibly meaningful to me—not just financially, but also emotionally. It affirms my goals and reminds me that there are people and organizations who believe in my potential and in the importance of the work I hope to do. The generosity of the Foundation Board is helping to relieve some of the financial pressures of graduate school and allowing me to focus more fully on my education, research, and community outreach."
Meet Rachel Robinson, Zeta Lambda
Lori and Sheryl Dahm Memorial Scholarship
"I had the privilege of taking a class with Dr. Dahm this past semester, and getting to know him personally has truly made this award so much more meaningful. I recall one class where I was wearing a Tri Sigma shirt, and he sparked up a conversation about it. He shared how his mother was also a Tri Sigma and that she was a Golden Violet. Based on this short interaction, I could tell that the sorority was important to the Dahm family. That is why I am incredibly proud and grateful to have been selected to receive this scholarship."

The Foundation awarded $11,860 in Destination Sigma scholarships to 25 collegians. Established in 2004 by an anonymous member in memory of her parents, the Destination Sigma Fund helps collegiate delegates attend Tri Sigma's National Convention.

$15,000 committed to Amplifying Sorority
The Tri Sigma Foundation joined Tri Sigma and 25 other NPC organizations in supporting this important and timely research. We have committed $15,000—$5,000 each year through 2026—to help make this work possible.
The value of the sorority experience is clear. It offers members the chance to form lifelong friendships, work with others from different backgrounds and perspectives, build confidence in a supportive environment, make a difference in their communities, and develop leadership and professional skills.
The Tri Sigma Foundation is thrilled to champion research that highlights our vital role in women’s lives, ensuring sororities remain relevant for college women and serve as a leading source of lifelong support and connection.
